Shayna Peeff is proud to be the principal of Happy Valley Elementary. Shayna Peeff is a product of the Lafayette School District having attended Happy Valley Elementary, Stanley Middle School and Acalanes High School. She graduated from Colgate University with an Honors degree in history, received her Multiple Subject teaching credential and Masters in Education from University of California, Davis, and got her administrative credential at Saint Mary’s College of California.

Shayna has worked in the Lafayette School District for over twenty years. She started her career at Springhill Elementary School in the Learning Center and the Reading Lab as an assistant. She taught kindergarten and second grade at Springhill, taught a year of sixth grade Core at Stanley Middle School and has taught kindergarten, first and second grade at Happy Valley. The 2023-2024 school year is Shayna's tenth year as principal at Happy Valley. She loves working with kids of all ages and is extremely excited to be the Happy Valley principal. 

When Shayna is not at Happy Valley, she is spending time with her husband, Jake, and two sons, Tommy and Johnny.
